Twitter Chat - Accessible and Affordable Housing for People with Disabilities
The Alliance for an Inclusive and Accessible Canada is very happy to be hosting its second Twitter chat this Wednesday, November 22nd from 4:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. EST. This Chat will be in English.
We will be discussing Accessible and Affordable Housing for People with Disabilities and we are very excited to have Mr. Roger P. Gervais as our special guest for the hour-long chat!
Mr. Gervais is a Certified Aging in Place Specialist and very passionate about Universal Design for new dwellings. He has ongoing concerns about discriminatory building codes that condone architectural barriers, which create exclusion from the majority of housing stock for individuals who have mobility disabilities.
To participate in the Chat search for #AllianceChat on Twitter and you can join the Chat from there!
The Alliance for an Inclusive and Accessible Canada is made up of 12 member organizations and 4 partner organizations. Together, we are consulting Canadians about the new federal accessibility law. CCD is a member of the Alliance.
