Dear partners and community leaders:

The Government of Ontario is asking Ontarians to share their experiences, perspectives, challenges, and priorities, to assess the current poverty reduction strategy and to explore opportunities for the next strategy. We would like to hear from individuals, service providers, employers, local community partners, Indigenous partners, and municipalities.

You and members of your community can provide input in the following ways at ontario.ca/PovertySurvey to help inform next steps and the direction of the strategy:

Complete a survey for individual Ontarians, service providers, or employers and associations
Share a written submission

Responses will be accepted until November 30, 2025. We encourage you to share information about the engagement opportunity with your colleagues, networks, clients, and community members.

Some individuals may need extra support or different formats to complete the survey. To help with this, we have created a printable version of the survey.

We invite organizations to print and share paper surveys with clients and community members, collect the responses, and share with the ministry.

Completed surveys can be submitted either as scanned copies by email to prs@ontario.ca or as printed copies by mail to Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services, Strategic Policy Division, 3rd Floor, 315 Front Street West, Toronto, Ontario, M7A 0B8.

If there are any questions regarding the engagement, please contact us by email at prs@ontario.ca.

Sincerely,
Michael Parsa
Minister
